My Mission at Knock Knock Immingham

 I created Knock Knock Immingham to share my journey as a Big Issue vendor, to be open about the challenges I face, and to give people a way to support me directly.

My mission is simple:

• To work with dignity by selling the Big Issue and staying part of my local community in Immingham.

• To tell my story honestly, so people understand what life is like on the margins and why support matters.

• To build connections with those who want to help — whether by buying the magazine, donating, or just stopping to say hello.

• To inspire understanding and compassion, showing that behind every vendor there’s a person with hopes, struggles, and determination.

This site is more than a blog — it’s a lifeline that helps me through difficult times, especially with health issues and cataract recovery.
